The fed will boost stocks, Russia won’t invade, and you won’t make any money regardless of what happens.

The fed will likely announce an emergency rate hike of basically nothing. Maybe 0.5%. This will signal to the world that Jpow still isn’t going to do what it takes to deal with inflation and we’re going to continue to not address the problems and that means the bull run continues.

Additionally, for some reason you all think Russia is going to invade Ukraine. This 99% won’t happen. Putin is just mad because NATO said they wouldn’t expand and then they farted in his face and expanded. He couldn’t do anything about it for years because Russia’s economy was in shambles. So now that he finally has Russia sorted out, he’s showing force.

Now then, you’re all getting scared from watching the news and you can’t form your own opinions about anything. This is why you won’t make money on the fed meeting or Russia, regardless of the outcome.

Let’s say Russia invades Ukraine after the fed announces a 6% rate hike. Ok, then what? You’re going to sit around for weeks and watch the market bottom and reverse only to scream that it still has lower to go?

You’re still going to be holding cash 5 years from now when SPY goes to like 1000. Heck, you probably clicked on this very post because you want some random redditor to give you an opinion because you can’t come up with one on your own

IMO, Russia does not invade Ukraine. Fed does not hike interest rates as much as they need to. We see SPY 500 by this year.

Note: do not tag me for some dumb ban bet because I said “SPY 500 by this year.” I’m not making a bet, I’m making an opinion. Ban bets are for people who don’t have any money left to bet in the markets, so they gamble their time on this sub like those squid monsters playing dice in The Pirates of the Caribbean movie.

Positions: SPY, AMD, GOOG.
