I feel advertising is inevitable to Netflix and downside isn’t as bad as people think it is.

I will start off saying I like Netflix, I use it very frequently and yes there have been misses on their shows but there has been really good ones too. I know that they don’t want to go into advertising, but I see it as inevitable and highly profitable. Back many years ago when YouTube had no ads, I had entered into a business case competition in my uni about how to monetize YouTube. Many of my peers thought ads will turn off users and YouTube will die. Many years later here I am still shoving in ads after ads on YouTube. If they played a 10sec ad after a 45min episode on Netflix I wouldn’t even blink. How much of this factor do you think is already priced into the current share price? Most of the focus on what determines Netflix’s value has been about it’s subscriber growth to me.
