Looking at Amarin Pharma for long position/ calls tomorrow

Anyone follow small beaten down BP’s? Alex Denner (of Sarissa capital mgmt) is a big biotech activist investor and Mark Lampert (of BVF Partners) both bought a huge positions last qtr in Amarin (AMRN). A small beaten down small cap BP. Shot up 15-20% the past day or two. Denner just took an ownership stake in the co with more than 6% of shares and just filed the 13D Monday. Reminded me of GME before the big run. Co’s balance sheet looks good too. No debt, 500 million in cash, 600 million in 2021 US revenues, only a 1.3 billion market cap. Essentially trading at cash plus 1.5x revs.

Where there is smoke there is fire bc most of the co’s Denner takes interest in are bought out shortly after he gets a few seats on the BOD. Already have a long position but going to add more plus some calls tomorrow. Call activity looks good.
